Security Officer - Patrol Security Clearance

As a Security Officer - Patrol Security Clearance in Huntsville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine foot patrols and presence checks, monitor assigned areas and access points, and document security-related observations and incidents. You will provide customer service focused communication with employees, visitors, and partners while helping to deter unwanted activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, access protocols, and other site-specific procedures at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production or lab-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in logs and/or systems.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and/or emergency services per procedure.
• Complete clear written reports on patrol findings, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
