Bolingbrook--Store Associate Receiving

We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Receiver. The position requires a strong retail background with a strong work ethic. It also requires knowledge and understanding of Binny's products and the ability to verify information compared to the product received.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee accurate receiving of product by verifying goods and quantities received by comparing vendor invoices, purchase orders, and/or Binny's Receiving Sheets.

* Inspection of goods overall condition, including inspecting for damages, expired/old goods.

* Security of the Receiving Area by adhering to Binny's Receiving policies and monitoring of vendors and delivery drivers.

* Communicating with Buyers, Managers and Departments about any receiving or product issues or instructions, product refusals, distro's, etc.

* Ability to provide clear and accurate notes on invoices regarding shortages, refusals, damages, etc.

* Ability to accurately enter data in computer systems.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Prior receiving experience or knowledge of the products we carry.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic.
• Organized with good communication skills.
• Ability to correctly enter data using Binny's computer systems.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to multi-task numerous functions and responsibilities.
• Ability to count cash and make change accurately.
• Ability to operate business machines (scanners, computer keyboards, etc.).
• Ability to pass any applicable alcohol training class and maintain a current certification card.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 40-50 pounds.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and managers.
• Ability to follow directions and complete assignments.
• Ability to write legibly.
• Ability to read small type.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to repeatedly walk up and down stairs.
• Ability to work in cold areas.
• Ability to work hours as scheduled.
• Consistent and regular attendance.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The hourly pay range for this position is $18.00-$22.00.
