Job Details
The GYN/OB Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team. The CMA has duties and responsibilities related to patient care in the ambulatory clinic environment. The Certified Medical Assistant duties include: obtaining vital signs, assisting patients in preparation for examination/ procedure, recording and documenting in the medical record, ensuring safe & efficient patient flow, administering medications and immunizations, and organizing the clinic environment to assure patient safety.
