As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor assigned areas through routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and professionalism. This role requires an armed guard card or license and a valid driver's license under AU driver policy requirements. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with licensing requirements, post instructions, and applicable regulations; maintain control of issued equipment and report discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate parties.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Control access points by verifying identification and/or authorization, monitoring for prohibited items, and assisting with orderly entry and exit procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• An armed guard card/license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
