Position Title: Material Handler
Wage: $21.50/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3pm-11pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Material Handler for a company in Ixonia, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Material Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to supply lines with necessary food supplies prior to packaging or final finished packaged food goods to be shipped - Perform daily truck/trailer inspections to ensure equipment is safe and in working condition. - Monitor production lines and supplies packaging items as needed with use of forklift, after certification - Return unused packaging materials post-production to warehouse by performing physical inventory and scanning to the appropriate locations using RF guns - Label and store materials and supplies within the warehouse and trailers according to part number/description - Receive and inspect incoming shipments for discrepancies and damages; document as necessary Material Handler Requirements: - Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally throughout shift (8-10 hours) - Ability to sit for long periods of time throughout shift (8-10 hours) - Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and lift throughout shift (8-10 hours) - Ability to do basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division - Ability to follow written and verbal directions - Prior forklift experience required (sit-down and/or stand-up) QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
