Responsibilities include managing programs and projects and designing, implementing, and evaluating management systems to enhance department and service operations. Assists in the development of the leadership staff.
Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions -Plans, implements, and evaluates specific projects to enhance department/service effectiveness. -Identifies and recommends fiscal, material, and human resource requirements for specific projects/programs. -Implements changes related to programs/projects, working collaboratively with nursing staff and staff of other departments. -Researches and investigates department/service issues and problems and collaborates with nursing and other departments in an effort to resolve issues and problems. -Promotes effective management of transitional phases between planned change and actual practice with leadership staff. -Interprets and integrates departmental values, standards, goals, policies, and procedures through ongoing programs, committee involvement, and consultation.
