The Opportunity

Adobe is seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager, Mobile Apps to help define and scale our mobile product marketing strategy across a growing ecosystem of creative applications.

This role will lead outbound strategy for key mobile experiences, including Lightroom Mobile, while helping shape go-to-market and growth approaches that extend across emerging mobile products. You will play a critical role in driving usage and growth strengthening Adobe's position in the mobile-first creator landscape.

We operate with a lean inbound/outbound structure, and this is a high-impact role that requires both strategic depth and executional excellence. You will flex across outbound leadership and partner deeply with the inbound PMM/product teams to drive positioning clarity, and market perspective to influence product strategy and growth outcomes.

This is an opportunity to help build Adobe's scalable mobile marketing playbook, defining how we launch, grow, measure, and optimize mobile apps in an increasingly competitive environment.

What You'll Do

Mobile Outbound Strategy

  • Lead outbound strategy for Adobe Lightroom Mobile, driving integrated go-to-market efforts that accelerate MAU growth and ARR.

  • Develop differentiated positioning and messaging that resonates with mobile-first creators and consumers.

  • Translate product innovation into clear, compelling value propositions across paid, owned, social, influencer, and app store channels.

  • Go-to-Market Leadership

  • Own end-to-end go-to-market planning for major mobile releases and feature moments.

  • Partner closely with Product, Growth, Lifecycle, Creative, Social, Influencer, and Regional teams to ensure coordinated execution and measurable impact.

  • Ensure strong alignment between brand storytelling and performance marketing outcomes.

Growth & Mobile Excellence

  • Bring deep understanding of mobile growth levers including acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and monetization.

  • Partner with analytics and growth teams to design experiments, measure performance, and optimize messaging across the funnel.

  • Influence app store strategy, in-app messaging, and lifecycle touchpoints to improve conversion and long-term value.

Inbound Partnership & Strategic Influence

  • Serve as a key strategic input to Product and inbound PMM on user insights, competitive landscape, positioning frameworks, and value proposition development.

  • Contribute perspective to packaging and pricing discussions, with primary focus on growth impact.

  • Represent the voice of the mobile customer in product strategy conversations.

Building the Mobile Playbook

  • Define and scale repeatable frameworks for mobile launches, measurement, experimentation, and cross-functional orchestration.

  • Help establish standards that can extend across current and future mobile applications.

  • Contribute to shaping Adobe's long-term mobile ecosystem strategy.

  • Executive Communication

  • Present strategy, launch plans, and business impact to senior leadership.

  • Influence decision-making through data-driven insights and clear narrative storytelling.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, marketing, or a related field

  • Extensive experience in mobile app product marketing, with demonstrated impact on MAU growth and revenue.

  • Strong fluency in consumer growth dynamics and mobile performance metrics.

  • Experience leading large-scale global product launches.

  • Proven ability to operate as an IC leader, influencing across highly matrixed organizations without direct authority.

  • Experience partnering closely with Growth, Lifecycle, and Influencer marketing teams.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities, with comfort translating data into action.

  • Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills.

  • Ability to flex between outbound leadership and strategic inbound contribution.

  • Mobile growth expertise prioritized over deep domain experience in creative tools.

  • BA/BS Degree preferred OR 10+ years of product marketing experience OR equivalent practical experience.

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $145,400 -- $261,150 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $180,300 - $261,150

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
