Work Schedule
8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours required as necessary to support event staffing.
Primary Purpose of Position
The primary purpose of this position to supervise front counter operations in the Parking and Transportation Services office. This will include training front counter staff, resolving customer issues, and collaborating with other supervisors/mangers in the department to resolve issues as necessary. This position also has the primary responsibility for the daily deposit, ensuring that it is accurate and completed in a timely manner.
Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from high school and two years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience; including some experience as a lead worker; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Job Duties
The position oversees front counter operations in the Parking and Transportation Services office.
Responsible for supervising the front counter staff, resolving customer issues, and collaborating with other supervisors/mangers in the department to resolve issues and suggest process improvements.
Primary responsibility for the daily deposit, ensuring that it is accurate and completed in a timely manner.


Other Work Responsibilities
This position will also:

  • Create and maintain process documentation for front office business procedures.
  • Serve as a back up 49er Mart approver for the Assistant Director.
  • Cross train with the Customer Account/Billing Specialist and fill in if necessary.

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education

  • Specialized office experience; previous parking office experience preferred;
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred; customer service experience.
  • Experience with recording cash and credit card payments; experience with industry specific software; strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills intermediate level skills with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience with Banner, Kronos, and 49er Mart preferred; Skidata and AIMS experience preferred.
