As a Security Officer Armed Patrol-Driver Clearance Required in Independence, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal on an armed, driving patrol post at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to routine activity with calm professionalism. You will complete mobile rounds, document observations, support access control, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication and teamwork, while acting with integrity in a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response protocols at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site contacts and public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries by verifying credentials, checking authorization lists, and documenting arrivals and departures in accordance with post orders.
• Complete detailed security-related reports and logs, document unusual activity, and communicate observations and/or hazards to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Have an armed guard card and/or license.
• Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
