Position Overview Exact Sciences is seeking a detail-oriented and driven marketing automation professional to join our Customer Engagement & Web Experience team. This team supports Marketing, Customer Experience (CX), and business partners across the organization by executing omnichannel campaigns that engage customers and support improved health outcomes. As a Marketing Automation Manager, you will work hands-on within our Customer Engagement Platform, Braze, to build and launch campaign assets, configure segments, and implement journey logic based on predefined strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the delivery of lifecycle campaigns across email, SMS, and other channels. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to patient and provider engagement, helping ensure timely, relevant communications that drive action. Essential Duties Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Execute one-off campaigns and recurring journey automations using the company's Customer Engagement Platform (e.g., Braze), applying predefined logic and templates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, CX, design, IT, and other technical teams to create integrated campaigns and ensure platform integration.
- Oversee omnichannel journeys across email, SMS, outbound phone, direct mail, web, and paid media activations, including both transactional and marketing communications.
- Execute audience segmentation strategies using segmentation tools and filters to deliver more meaningful and relevant customer experiences.
- Implement journey automation strategies to increase lead generation, drive acquisition, and build customer lifetime value across the lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and execute A/B and multivariate testing strategies, contributing to campaign innovation.
- Participate in agile workflows within full-stack squads to support experience product managers and marketing leads.
- Maintain campaign documentation including configurations, requirements, and QA steps to support consistent execution.
- Monitor emerging trends in marketing automation platforms and propose applicable innovations to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Analyze campaign performance data and distill insights for sharing with team members and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate within an agile, cross-functional value stream squad to deliver impactful customer journeys in partnership with product and marketing leads.
- Apply innate curiosity to learn new skills, technologies, methods to deploy best-in-class campaigns & journeys.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or relevant field as outlined by essential duties OR associate's degree at 2 additional years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 additional years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing technology deploying customer facing experiences and/or campaigns to end users.
- Sound knowledge of using automation tools like Braze, Adobe Campaign, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of email automation & journey orchestration technology.
- Understanding of lead generation procedures and customer lifecycle.
- Proficient understanding of digital marketing techniques.
- Practical knowledge of consumer psychology and behavior.
- Ability to collaborate with team members from other departments.
- Strong project management skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to the ever-changing consumer behavior.
- Analytical and driven by data metrics.
- Proficient understanding of CAN-SPAM, CCPA, GDPR, HIPPA, TCPA and related compliance requirements as it relates to Marketing systems implementation and management within the healthcare industry.
- Proficient in audience segmentation, campaign set up, developing segments using "and/or" statement clauses.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to effectively QA campaigns before deployment.
- Intermediate skills in general office systems, equipment and applications to support business needs (e.g., Microsoft Office, Project Management systems, Miro, etc).
- Must be able to analyze, evaluate, and determine the appropriate course of action.
- Must be able to convey knowledge to customers, peers, and managers of widely diverse skill levels.
- Possession of or ability to obtain Braze certification within 12 months of hire and maintain throughout employment in position.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using or certification in Braze, Customer Engagement Platform.
- Experience creating target audiences or reporting via SQL and filtered Data Extensions from multiple related datasets is a plus.
- Deep knowledge in email & SMS deployment, HTML editing, delivery monitoring and reporting.
- Knowledge of full development lifecycles for software applications using tools such as JIRA desired.

Salary Range: $76,000.00 - $125,000.00
The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible.
