OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANYFox TV Stations FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content. JOB DESCRIPTION

A results-driven leadership role responsible for managing sales personnel, driving revenue growth across all station platforms, and leading political advertising strategy. This role requires strong expertise in political sales, including a solid understanding of FCC regulations and compliance, as well as a strong foundation in digital sales to support significant digital revenue expectations. While deep expertise across all digital products is not required, the ability to lead, support, and drive digital initiatives is essential. The Sales Manager leads the execution of strategic sales initiatives, mentors a team of Account Executives, and builds strong relationships with local clients and national agencies to maximize market share.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth through the sale of advertising across linear and digital platforms, with a focus on achieving and exceeding station goals

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3-5 Account Executives; provide ongoing performance management and support

  • Oversee political advertising strategy and execution across assigned markets, including Orlando and Gainesville, ensuring compliance with FCC regulations and internal processes

  • Partner with internal teams and FTS to maximize political revenue opportunities

  • Champion digital sales efforts by promoting adoption and maintaining a strong working knowledge of digital products and solutions

  • Develop and execute strategic, multiplatform sales plans and maintain accurate revenue forecasts

  • Maintain expertise in market conditions, ratings, and pricing to optimize inventory and yield

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local clients and national agency partners

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Traffic, Finance, and Creative Services to ensure smooth campaign execution and issue resolution

  • Utilize systems such as Wide Orbit and CRM tools to manage sales activity and reporting

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in media sales management with a strong record of revenue achievement

  • Demonstrated expertise in political advertising, including knowledge of FCC regulations and compliance requirements

  • Solid understanding of digital sales with the ability to drive digital revenue growth

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities

Physical & Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel locally for client meetings, events, and business development activities

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain appropriate insurance

  • Ability to sit, stand, and move between office and client locations as needed

  • Occasionally lift or carry materials up to 25 lbs

This role requires flexibility to meet the demands of a fast-paced, 24/7 media environment, including occasional evenings, weekends, and special events.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $165,000.00-171,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
