  • Location: Shaw AFB

  • Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm


We are seeking an experienced Tractor Operator to join our landscaping team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident operating heavy equipment, understands the demands of largescale landscape maintenance, and values safety and efficiency.



  • Operate tractors and a variety of attachments-including mowers, loaders, and aerators-to support commercial landscape maintenance activities.

  • Perform mowing, grading, brush cutting, and other seasonal propertycare tasks to maintain highquality outdoor spaces.

  • Conduct daily inspections of equipment and complete basic maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation.

  • Assist with general landscaping duties as needed to support overall project goals.

  • Follow all company procedures and adhere to established safety protocols at all times.

  • Work both independently and collaboratively with crew members to meet project deadlines and maintain productivity.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow and task coordination.


What You'll Need to Be Successful:



  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience operating tractors and landscape equipment such as mowers, loaders, aerators, and brush cutters.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in commercial landscaping, groundskeeping, or property maintenance.

  • Familiarity with basic equipment maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting.

  • Awareness of OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols.

  • Valid RealID

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.


Bonus If You Have These Skills:



  • Ability to follow work orders, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.

  • Ability to identify equipment issues and perform minor repairs or report problems promptly.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a crew to meet deadlines.

  • Strong understanding of commercial landscaping practices, turf care, and property maintenance.

  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with supervisors and crew members.

Physical & Environmental Demands:



  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods throughout the workday.

  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Involves repetitive motions such as raking, shoveling, trimming, and pushing landscaping equipment.

  • Requires sufficient hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle tools and perform detailed tasks.

  • Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.

  • May involve exposure to dust, pollen, fertilizers, and other landscaping materials or chemicals.

  • Requires visual acuity to inspect work quality, identify hazards, and ensure safety compliance.

  • Must be able to hear and respond to verbal instructions, equipment sounds, and environmental cues.

  • Involves navigating uneven terrain, slopes, and potentially slippery or muddy surfaces.

  • May require wearing personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, and boots.
