TITLE CARE Student Services Program Advisor & Case Manager JOB SUMMARY The CARE Student Services Program Advisor & Case Manager supports student success and persistence by providing direct services, case management, and program coordination for students served by the CARE Office, with a focus on foster care alumni and other students navigating basic needs insecurity, financial hardship, or personal challenges. The Advisor & Case Manager connects students with on- and off-campus resources, delivers workshops and programs that build student resilience and engagement, and monitors outcomes to ensure effective wraparound support. The position collaborates with faculty, staff, and community partners to improve access to resources, advocates for vulnerable student populations, and contributes to CARE initiatives that promote belonging and retention. Work is performed under the administrative supervision of the Assistant Director (or Associate Director) for CARE, with performance evaluated based on the effectiveness of student support, coordination of services, and program impact. EDUCATION Master's degree in higher education, counseling, social work, or a related field required. EXPERIENCE Minimum two years of experience in student development, counseling, case management, or related field. Experience in higher education strongly preferred. REQUIREMENT Regular and reliable attendance at the University during regular scheduled days and work hours is an essential function of this position. Valid driver's license and certification as an authorized TWU driver in order to drive on University-related business.
