Security Officer - Armed Patrol Rover

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Rover in Brockton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and concerns with calm, professional communication. You will support customers and staff with clear directions and service-minded interaction, while living our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, putting people first through teamwork and integrity.

Candidate will cover locations in the South Shore Area.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearms and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
