The Cyber Security Engineer is responsible for supporting and enhancing the organization's network security posture. This role focuses on the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security technologies including firewalls, endpoint protection solutions, and VPNs. The Cyber Security Engineer builds on foundational cybersecurity skills, demonstrating proficiency in network security concepts and tools, while continuing to develop advanced technical and analytical capabilities. The role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning within a dynamic security environment.

Position Compensation Range:

$80,000.00 - $131,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

This position is able to accept candidates who can transfer a valid, current H-1B visa. However, we do not provide sponsorship for F-1/OPT or STEM OPT (including initial, extension, or future sponsorship), now or at any time in the future. Candidates must have ongoing authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring F-1/OPT/STEM-related sponsorship.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Participates in the development, integration, and testing of cyber products

  • Participate in the research, engineering, and integration new security solutions

  • Participates in the development and maintenance of the security systems and solutions

  • Builds strong relationships with peers across functions through collaborative engineering operations and initiatives

  • Participate in the design, and implementation of automated solutions to enable security needs

  • Manages, analyzes and responds to the changing system and data access needs of the company and our clients with agility and flexibility

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • Basic understanding of network security principles, protocols, and architectures

  • Familiarity with Palo Alto firewall configuration, management, and troubleshooting

  • Familiarity with endpoint protection platforms

  • Knowledge of VPN technologies and secure remote access solutions

  • Awareness of threat detection, vulnerability assessment, and incident response processes

  • Basic understanding of intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)

  • Ability to implement and enforce security policies and procedures

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaborating with team members

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
