This position will be responsible for leading the ideation, conceptualization, prioritization, and initiation for future system use and enhancements. Works with technology areas to clarify business requirements where needed and assists in the development of the test strategy and plan for large and complex projects. This position will oversee the research on complex system issues and coordinates resolution. Research and evaluate business system application developments and technologies within the insurance industry and business markets that are relevant to the business and future business strategy.

Position Compensation Range:

$99,000.00 - $167,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities
* Conducts advanced data analysis with the ability to query enterprise-scale databases and problem solving with the use of data from associated systems.
* Queries large databases/source systems to explore defects, problem-solving and testing of defects.
* Engages with technology areas and represents the business-on-business issues and requirements for large and complex system projects.
* Partners with stakeholders to understand needs, gather and analyze business requirements, perform data analysis, assist in change management, training and testing efforts.
* Gathers and document business rules functional requirements and data definitions.
* Collaborates to resolve inconsistencies and inadequacies in requirements.
* Partners with technology areas to develop user acceptance testing and quality assurance test scenarios and cases working to ensure data delivery meets business requirements. Collaborates with stakeholders to produce and maintain accurate test documentation.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
* Demonstrate experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
* Demonstrate experience developing relationships with internal and external partners.
* Extensive knowledge of business systems and how to apply them to leverage efficiencies in a business environment.
* Solid knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, practices, techniques and tools.
* Basic knowledge and understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC).

Candidates can be considered at the lower (Senior Business Systems Specialist) level, if qualified.

In this hybrid role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from the office. Candidates should reside within approximately 35-50 miles of one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110;
