Medical Assistant Woobridge, VA Pay From: $21 per hour MUST: 2+ years of experience as a medical assistant Graduate of a medical assistant program or registered or certified Strong experience administering injections Experience and or knowledge in the urology field Administrative healthcare experience Processing prescriptions Ability to work in high volume practice that sees 8 patients per hour about 50 patients per day Rooming patients Obtaining vitals and medical histories Triaging patients Assisting with exams and procedures Documenting and updating patient information in EMR Experience with catheters Bilingual Spanish and or bilingual with other languages to help with translations for Spanish speaking patients and patients who speak other languages HS diploma or GED DUTIES: The duties of the Medical Assistant include but are not limited to the following: Room patients Obtain vital signs and medical histories Administer injections Assist with exams and procedures Document and update patient information in EMR Triage patients Insert catheters Assist with handling translations for Spanish speaking patients as well as patients who speak other languages Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
