Medical Receptionist - Optical Sales
Mechanicsville, VA Pay From: $18 per hour MUST: 2 plus years of professional experience as a Medical Receptionist Experience in the eye care field 6 plus months of Retail/Sales experience Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Must have be computer savvy Must have experience scheduling appointments Must have experience handling insurance verification Must have experience handling a multi-lined phone Experience in the Optical field is highly preferred DUTIES: Answering phones Scheduling appointments Authorizing insurance benefits Medical and vision care billing Assist patients with selecting and ordering eye glasses including frames and lenses Prepping charts Checking patients in and out Assisting with all aspects of smooth patient flow in the office Order contacts for patients Provide patients with customer service support by understanding the patient's needs Provide patient education Provide patients with comprehensive explanation of their insurance benefits and needs Understand the company's cost of goods and retail fee schedules Clean glasses-merchandise displays Accurately process patient payment transactions Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
