Data Center Fiber Technician Fayetteville, GA Pay From: $17.00 per hour MUST: Experienced Data Center Technician Experience working in a Data Center environment Experience pulling fiber for installations Proven splicing experience Demonstrated ability to splice live fiber networks Strong troubleshooting skills for active fiber networks Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical field work Ability to work indoors/outdoors and stand for long periods GED or higher DUTIES: Working on communications equipment and projects. May include installing, testing and repairing structures and equipment. Takes direction from crew Foreman ensuring safety and quality standards are met while adhering to project budgets and timeline. Review documentation with Foreman to prepare for the build, assemble the necessary materials, and determine the required installation methods. Help supervise the tracking of all on-site inventory and materials. Perform inspections, inventories, and audits as needed. Collect, review, and submit all on-site closeout documentation per the deliverable timelines. Assist training crew members on proper safety/quality standards.
