Description & Requirements
The Grants Management Services Consultant supports clients across the full grants management lifecycle, including state and local governments, nonprofit organizations, higher education institutions, healthcare entities, and commercial enterprises that receive federal funding. The role provides opportunities for diverse project work, professional growth, and impactful client service.
What You Will Do:
  • Support projects involving federal and state funding opportunities, regulatory compliance, and targeted funding initiatives across pre-award, post-award, and closeout phases.
  • Conduct operational and financial assessments of clients' grants-related compliance, systems, policies, procedures, and internal controls. in alignment with Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200).
  • Research funding opportunities from government and non-government agencies.
  • Review program expenditures for allowability and compliance with grant requirements.
  • Assist in managing consulting projects related to grant writing, compliance, monitoring, and financial reporting.
  • Perform industry and technical research to support the development of new client solutions.
  • Utilize grants management systems and technology to enhance internal and client processes.
  • Perform accounting reconciliations related to grant activity, including general ledger to grant ledger reconciliations, drawdowns, and expenditure reporting.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in accounting, grants management, grant writing, or grant consulting within government, nonprofit, or related sectors.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP, CPA, or NGMA CGMS certification (or candidacy).
