Location: Melrose Park, IL

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday | 12 AM - 8:30 AM

Must train on the 1st or 2nd shift.

The Lowdown You'll Need

• 1+ years of recent sit-down forklift experience
• RF scanning experience
• Able to communicate in English
• Experience with air cargo handling systems or WMS a plus
• Knowledge of TSA cargo security requirements a plus
• Must be able to do dock work on average 50% of the time

Responsibilities:

• Receive and unload freight from airline charter shipments upon arrival
• Break down air cargo (ULDs, pallets, containers) and sort freight by destination or order
• Inspect shipments for damage and verify contents against air waybills and manifests
• Accurately scan, label, and stage freight for warehouse intake or outbound distribution
• Coordinate with air cargo handlers, drivers, and warehouse teams to ensure timely processing
• Prepare freight for outbound shipment, including palletizing, wrapping, and securing loads
• Maintain strict adherence to flight schedules and expedited processing timelines
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners (if certified)
• Follow TSA, airline, and company compliance procedures for cargo handling
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area
