UNC Pediatrics at Weaver Crossing is hiring a Pediatrician (MD/DO)!

Located at the intersection of Weaver Dairy Road and NC-86 in Chapel Hill, Weaver Crossing serves as a medical home for children from newborns to teenagers. The team is committed to providing quality and cost-effective medical care to a diverse population of children, including those with chronic medical conditions and special needs. We provide the full range of primary care pediatric services, coordinating care with UNC pediatric specialists when needed.

Position Specifics:

  • Outpatient only
  • Adjunct faculty affiliation with UNC, teaching medical students in the clinic

Clinic Hours:

Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 7:00pm

Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm

Job Qualifications:

  • Medical School Graduate (MD/DO)
  • Board-certified pediatrics required
  • NC State License preferred
  • Must be eligible for credentialing

Education Requirements:

  • Meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
  • Board Certified in Specialty; MD License in healthcare specialty
  • DEA;MD;BLS
Professional Experience Requirements:
  • Prefer prior experience in Pediatrics.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
  • Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.

REASONING ABILITY

High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS certification. Board-certified in area of specialty.
