Metrology Quality Technician - Direct Hire Location: Beverly, MA Pay: $26.50-$33/hour Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support manufacturing quality assurance, inspection, and metrology operations. This role is responsible for performing first article inspections (FAI), receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure precision parts meet all engineering and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform FAI, in-process, and final inspections to verify product conformance Interpret blueprints and GD&T to ensure dimensional accuracy Use CMM, vision systems, and manual inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparators) Develop and run CMM programs from drawings and CAD models Troubleshoot quality issues and support operators, engineers, and inspectors Train team members on inspection methods, tools, and best practices Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain inspection records, documentation, and quality reports Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 4+ years of quality inspection in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of GD&T and metrology principles Hands-on experience with CMM and precision measurement equipment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems Skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Effective communication and teamwork skills Schedule & Environment Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Manufacturing/shop floor environment; lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally Benefits - Offered by Our Client Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more Click "Apply Now" to join a growing team focused on quality, precision, and continuous improvement.
