Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Grand Prairie, TX. Interested? Here's what you'd do: Work proficiently with Linux/UNIX (RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu), installation and configuration with Kickstart, and working knowledge of Linux "Command Line" functions. Experience with Scripting and Automation (i.e., Ansible, Perl, Bash, Shell Scripting, etc.) Install and configure network devices (i.e., network printers, scanners, plotters, PCs, etc.). Troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices. Perform data termination/ activation in telecommunication closets, also known as network connections (activation of data drops). Repair and replace data connectors on network cables and data drops. Assist in the relocation of customer employees to the facility (move PCs and activate data drops in the new location). Troubleshoot network issues with PCs and LAN (duplex mismatches, duplicate IPs, corrupt firewall software, proxy configuration issues, etc.) Assist with imaging of laptops and PCs for deployment. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Minimum 1 years of experience with basic technical hardware repair. Minimum 1 years of experience with setup and configuring PC's. Minimum 1 years of experience with desktop support. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Linux/UNIX (RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu) Installation and Configuration with Kickstart Working knowledge of Linux "Command Line" functions Experience with Scripting and Automation (Ansible, Perl, Bash, Shell Scripting, etc.) Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
