As a Security Officer Neighborhood Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.43 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures and government location protocols, and by supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and public areas, verify authorized entry when required, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations at the location by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and communicating with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
