Title: FP&A Senior Indirect Rates Analyst

Location: Alexandria, VA

Responsibilities:




  • Indirect Rate Structure Design: and allocation management: Buildup, review, analysis, and negotiation of provisional & forward pricing indirect cost rate proposals, ensuring allowability, allocability, and reasonableness in accordance with federal cost principles
  • Prepare & conduct in-depth cost/price analyses, including review of expense pools, allocation bases, and business volume forecasts
  • Optimize indirect rate structures to bid for US government contracts
  • Conduct sensitivity/scenario analyses for different indirect cost structures


  • Maintain and update indirect cost allocation methodology and procedures, including allocation tool


  • Analyze and reconcile indirect cost pools and bases
  • Maintain and improve allocation tools and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)


Requirements:




  • Bachelor's degree in a security related or similar field of study is required plus 8 years of experience within the DoD or IC community
  • Completion of CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities curriculum with the ideal candidate possessing other Industry certifications
  • Functional skills for the following Microsoft Office products: Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail to ensure security protocols are followed
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and multi-task on a variety of projects
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to oversee staff reporting to this position
  • Capacity and experience to make critical business decisions to ensure minimal impact to mission and operations often with minimal information
  • Knowledge of Business Continuity Programs including planning, training, and exercises
  • Familiarization of SCIF operations and required security oversight
  • Experience with security government databases such as DISS, NISS, and SCI nominations through DoD& IC client portals
  • Professional Society Membership such as ISWG or NCMS is desired
