The Role

At QuidelOrtho, we're advancing the power of diagnostics for a healthier future for all. Join our mission as our next Senior Finance Analyst. This position will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to the Global Supply Chain organization. In this position, the individual will have specific responsibilities for supporting the monthly close, forecasting, and variance analysis for the US Supply Chain Team and have responsibility for consolidating the results and preparing executive level reporting packages for the Global Supply Chain Organization

This position will be onsite in Rochester, NY with remote eligibility.

The Responsibilities
  • Lead monthly close process (record necessary Journal Entries, Accruals, etc). Work with business partners to ensure month-end financials are within expectations

  • Build/Consolidate monthly reporting files for freight, warehousing, headcount, scrap, savings, and all other major SC KPI's. Review actual monthly performance against budgets and provide variance commentary

  • Support budget and forecasting cycle and analysis (AOP, 3+9, 6+6, 9+3)

  • Serve as primary finance partner to the US Supply Chain Team and support the Global Supply Chain team as needed to standardize reporting, align commentary, and proactively uncovering risk/opportunities

  • Enhance existing reporting tools and models to streamline reporting cycles to provide more insightful information to management.

  • Complete FP&A and Global Ops Finance requests and all other ad-hoc activities

  • Assist with process/continuous improvement initiatives for the US/Global Supply Chain Teams

  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

The Individual

Required:

  • Familiarity with UK and US GAAP.

  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills

  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills including the ability to create complex financial models, intellectual curiosity and proven leadership skills.

  • The ability to work well in a dynamic environment, think creatively and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and SAP.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience of financial & management accounting.

  • This position is not currently eligible for visa sponsorship.

Preferred:
  • Fully Qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)

  • Degree Level Qualified (preferably within Accounting or Finance area)

Internal Partners:

US Supply Chain, Global Supply Chain Team and Finance counter-parts in various regions

The Work Environment

Typical office environment, including home office.some travel might be needed as deemed necessary for the role

The Physical Demands

The work environment characteristics are representative of an office environment. No strenuous physical activity, although occasional light lifting of files and related materials is required.

Salary Transparency

The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary range for this position is $89,008.92 to $115,711.59 and is bonus eligible. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time), and paid Holidays.
