Job Description As an *IT Support Technician* for *our client*, you will play a key role in delivering centralized technical support for standard computing devices and software. You will serve as a single point of contact for phone, electronic, and deskside support, assisting end users with IT services and desktop applications.
This role includes responding to phone calls, electronically submitted requests, and walk-in support inquiries. You will also assist with computer imaging, inventory management, equipment ordering, system installation, and providing standard technical support to partnered business areas. Strong troubleshooting skills are required to identify, diagnose, and resolve computer, software, and telephone-related issues while efficiently processing service requests. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential to ensure timely, high-quality support and a positive end-user experience. Responsibilities * Provide phone, electronic, and in-person technical support * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and telephone issues * Perform computer imaging, setup, and installations * Manage IT inventory and assist with asset tracking * Support desktop applications and standard computing devices * Process and document service requests accurately * Deliver professional, customer-focused IT support Required Skills * Asset management * Desktop support * Phone and customer support * Knowledge of computer operating systems and productivity applications * Understanding of computer networks and telephone services Qualifications *Minimum Qualifications* * Excellent customer service skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Solid knowledge of computer operating systems and productivity software * Foundational understanding of networking and telephony concepts *Preferred Qualifications* * Previous Service Desk or IT support experience * CompTIA certification * Additional relevant technical certifications *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Notre Dame, IN. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
