As a Security Officer Truck Gate in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to control employee, visitor, and/or driver access to the location according to site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document relevant activity in required logs and reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas, gates, docks, and parking areas, as working conditions may vary by site.
• Communicate with site contacts regarding deliveries, visitor processing, and/or unusual activity to help support orderly access control operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
