Location: Stockton, CA - Wilcox Rd - Filling industrial How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Hourly Range $24.00 - $26.00 (DOE)* Responsible for adherence to company policies including safety and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Responsible for participating in identifying any safety and/or health hazards while in the workplace. * Maintain a safe driving record and appropriate driver's license classification while operating company vehicles and equipment. * Loads and unloads service trucks with gas cylinders, containers and supplies for scheduled route deliveries as directed by dispatcher. * Makes deliveries in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction is met. * Ensures that all documents required to move and deliver the load are available and accurate. * Perform any non-route delivery necessary to provide customers with products. * Maintains records promptly and accurately as required by the company and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. * Inspects vehicles for defects and safe operating conditions before each delivery (pre-trip) and submit necessary documentation to report any defects or problems immediately. * Performs post-trip delivery at the end of each shift. * Identify potential problems with cylinders and notify management in a timely manner. * Performs all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and comply with all federal, state, local and DOT regulations. * Collects, records transactions and submit all customer payments promptly to the manager. * Pulls orders from the warehouse as necessary. * Occasional mandatory overtime may be required, and On-Call on weekends and holidays. * Provides support to internal and external customers to maintain inventory and delivery needs. * All employees are expected to perform any reasonable work request that falls within the qualifications but not specifically described. ________________________ Are you a MATCH?* Must possess a valid Class A/B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements. * Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 5 years. * Based on FMCSA regulations, Must be able to speak and read English well enough to perform the job safely and effectively. This includes, but is not limited to, conversing with the general public, understanding highway traffic signs and signals, responding to official inquiries, using company electronic devices as needed, and making legible entries on reports and records. * Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card & endorsements * No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years * No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years * Must be able to work in a drug-free environment * Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment ________________________ Benefits We care about and support our Airgas Families.
