Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University invites applications for a non-tenure-track Professional Practice Assistant Professor to support and strengthen our programs in data analytics, data science, bioinformatics, and health analytics, and to provide critical student mentoring within the Huntsman School's Analytics Solutions Center. This academic-year (nine-month) faculty position will support the development and maintenance of programs of excellence in teaching, with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2026. Responsibilities The successful applicant will have the appropriate professional background and academic experience to teach and mentor both undergraduate and graduate students through the Analytics Solutions Center, a center within the Huntsman School of Business that offers rigorous experiential learning opportunities connecting interdisciplinary student teams with real-world problems from partner companies and organizations. The candidate will also teach undergraduate and graduate courses using hands-on applications of data analytics, data science, machine learning, and AI. The candidate will design and continually refine the curriculum to reflect evolving industry techniques, tools, and platforms. They will also develop innovative, applied learning experiences that integrate real-world datasets, cloud environments, and deployable solutions. Qualified candidates will bring industry experience, a passion for teaching, and a proven track record of excellence in mentoring.
