Hiring Range:

$119,912.00 - $152,131.20

UMass Memorial Health, the leading health and wellness provider in Central Massachusetts and the region's largest healthcare system, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Division of Rheumatology at our HealthAlliance campus in Leominster. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a collaborative, patient-centered team dedicated to delivering high-quality care to patients with rheumatic and musculoskeletal conditions.

Position Overview:
As an Advanced Practice Provider in Rheumatology, you will work closely with a team of experienced rheumatologists to provide comprehensive outpatient care. This role focuses on the evaluation and management of patients with a range of rheumatic conditions, with a particular emphasis on osteoarthritis.

You will practice in a supportive, team-oriented environment that values mentorship, professional growth, and clinical excellence. The position is 100% outpatient and offers a consistent weekday schedule.

Major responsibilities:

  • Duties would include seeing new and established patients with rheumatic conditions including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, tendinitis/bursitis, osteoporosis, and fibromyalgia, with a primary focus on osteoarthritis.

  • Perform comprehensive assessments, order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies, and develop treatment plans

  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, follow-up care, and education

  • There will be opportunities to work with leaders in the field of Rheumatology and to attend educational activities within the division and through the American College of Rheumatology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

  • Current NP or PA certification

  • Massachusetts NP or PA license (or eligibility)

  • Experience in rheumatology, internal medicine, or ambulatory care preferred, but not required

  • New graduates with a strong interest in rheumatology are encouraged to apply

  • Commitment to a collaborative, team-based approach to care

  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
