Duties/Responsibilities

Eligibility & Athletics Participation:
- Assist in the management of the certification of eligibility and athletics participation approval process.
- Collect and input information on various databases used for eligibility, admissions, and scholarships monitoring including NCAA Compliance Assistant and NCAA Eligibility Center.
- Assist in performing evaluations of prospective student-athletes academic records during the recruiting process to determine whether NCAA and SEC eligibility standards are satisfied.
- Assist in pre-enrollment amateurism certification process for all incoming student-athletes.
- Assist in tracking competition eligibility requirements, including season of competition issues/waivers and five-year clock issues/waivers.

Support international student-athlete transition to
UGA including working with them on acquiring social security number, completing Glacier and Springtax tax purposes. |
