The Law Gas & Electric Operations team provides both regulatory and transactional support to clients across a broad spectrum of matters involving federal and state regulatory agencies and primarily related to energy operations, including transmission development and rates, electrification, decarbonization, wildfire safety, electric and gas safety, large load management, service planning, land rights and enforcement, clean fuels, transition of the natural gas system, and legislative initiatives. Position Summary Responsible for providing legal advice and representation in connection with all aspects of the company's operations involving state and federal regulations, including electric transmission development, transmission rate cases, safety, infrastructure operations, compliance, enforcement and service planning. Responsible for the selection and management of outside counsel and for the coordination of the company's legal agenda across its various lines of business to provide strategic, comprehensive, and complete legal advice with respect to the company's legal agenda. Responsible for project and budget management of legal matters. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be in the San Francisco Bay Area or Washington, D.C. Reporting Relationship This position reports to the Managing Counsel of Law Gas & Electric Operations. Compensation PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. We estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed within the reasonable compensation range of $212,800 -$305,900. The decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis. This leadership role is also eligible for an annual Short Term Incentive Plan (STIP) award, as well as the Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) grant. | |
