Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to join our team. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, safe, and functional work environment across our office and manufacturing spaces.

Shift - Days Mon-Fri 7a-4p

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of office areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and production areas
  • Empty trash and recycling bins; manage proper disposal of waste
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness
  • Clean windows, doors, and other surfaces to maintain a professional appearance
  • Replenish supplies such as soap, paper products, and sanitizers
  • Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely, following company and L&I guidelines
  • Respond to routine facilities requests and work orders in a timely manner
  • Support warehouse and production areas by maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Lift and transport heavy items (50 lbs or more) as required
  • Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and equipment
  • Follow all safety protocols, report any hazards or maintenance needs to management, and use PPE as required
  • Perform scheduled cleaning and basic upkeep tasks
  • Report any damage or repair needs to supervisor
  • Operate basic cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor scrubbers

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Standing, walking, bending, and climbing ladders for extended periods
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals, machinery noise, and varying temperatures


Qualifications


  • Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
