About The Position

The Module Exchange Worker is a temporary, summer position responsible for replacing residential and commercial gas meters and modules.

Must successfully complete drug screening and a background check
Pay: $20.00 per hour.

The start date for this position is June 1, with an end date of either August or September based on the selected candidate.

Key responsibilities include:

• Must maintain safety and customer focus at all times.
• Replaces AMI non-performing gas modules.
• Utilize personal vehicle to store PPE, modules, and hand tools needed to perform exchanges (Mileage reimbursement will be provided).
• Utilize personal cell phone to take pictures of the module to be replaced, new module number, the reading from the module and send that information and address of the exchange to Ameren Meter Specialist Supervisor.
• Identify and report potential diversion, tampering and theft of service situations.
• Perform troubleshooting for non-communication gas modules.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must successfully complete company-sponsored training.
• Must have a good Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have proof of insurance

Additional Information

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
• Must successfully complete drug screening and a background check.
• Required to work summer schedule Monday through Friday (typically 40 hours per week).
