Medical Assistant II, Oncology Multidisciplinary Clinic

ChristianaCare is hiring a Medical Assistant II for our Oncology Multidisciplinary Clinic (MDC) at our Helen F. Graham Center in Newark, DE.

As an Medical Assistant II, you will provides highquality patient care by assisting providers with both onsite and virtual visits, while serving as a team leader and mentor to office staff to support efficient, collaborative practice operations.

The ideal candidate will have oncology experience as well as being a lead medical assistant.

Duties / Responsibilities:

The Medical Assistant II ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, assists providers during virtual and in-person appointments, and acts as a leader and mentor to office staff to promote effective workflow and team collaboration.

Position Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED required.

• A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program and hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

• Two years' experience as a Medical Assistant, is required, three years' is preferred.
