What to Expect

The Cathode Maintenance team is expanding its scope of responsibility to include the design, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing lines to support the overall mission of transforming the world to sustainable methods of transportation.You will work closely with internal stakeholders (infrastructure, design, production, and purchasing) as well as external contractors to deliver an integrated manufacturing solution.


What You'll Do
  • Provide technical support for in-plant & offsite repair, maintaining compliance with site & industry standards
  • Provide input on repair plans for maintenance technicians, and advanced troubleshooting on repairs
  • Conduct & document equipment install, inspection, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Drive the preventative maintenance process to maximize uptime & asset life
  • Perform redesign of existing equipment to meet reliability or production goals
  • Commission newly installed or modified equipment, ensuring optimal startup & operation
  • Work with various types of rotating equipment (e.g. blowers, screw feeders, gearboxes, rotary valves, conveyors, etc.)
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive equipment performance & availability
  • Ability to create and track performance metrics using tools suchas excel, powerBI etc.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering
  • 1+ years of industry experience in rotating equipment engineering(manufacturing experience is preferred)
  • Expertise in design and maintenance strategies for rotating equipment
  • Fundamental understanding of process containing equipment
  • Proven experience in large scale turnaround or construction coordination
  • Background in site safety management systems (Lockout/Tagout, Management of Change, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of process instrumentation (e.g. flow, temperature, and pressure transmitters)
  • Experience developing equipment documentation, drawings, inspections, audits, etc.
  • Proficiency in computer aided design software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
