Support and enhance critical banking applications by resolving issues, improving system performance, and ensuring stability. This role plays a key part in incident, problem, and change management while partnering across teams to deliver reliable technology solutions. Candidates located in Wisconsin, Illinois, or Minnesota are strongly preferred, offering strong growth in application support and financial services technology.

Role Summary
Lead the end-to-end management of major incidents to ensure system stability and minimize business impact. You'll coordinate rapid response efforts, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement. This role offers strong visibility and opportunities to influence operational excellence across the organization.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead major incident response (Sev1/Sev2) from triage through resolution
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to restore services quickly and effectively
  • Communicate incident status, impacts, and updates to technical and business stakeholders
  • Facilitate post-incident reviews and drive actionable improvements
  • Analyze incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
  • Maintain accurate documentation including RCAs and executive summaries
  • Leverage monitoring tools to proactively identify and address issues
  • Mentor team members and strengthen incident management practices

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT operations, technical support, or incident management
  • 2+ years of experience in banking or financial services
  • Proven experience managing major incidents in a production environment
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL incident, problem, and change management
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification or higher
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies
  • Experience leading operational transformation initiatives
