Pay range is $28.00- $30.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM - 4:30PM, Mon- Thurs, occasional Friday.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Quality Assurance (QA) Lead ensures all production teams meet Cornerstone Building Brands' quality standards while driving accountability and continuous improvement across the facility. This role oversees the training DOJO, delivers crossfunctional training, and manages standard work certification for all departments. The QA Lead partners with plant leadership to reinforce quality processes, support problemsolving, and compile and present quality performance data to the broader network.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and communicate quality data from the production floor to support decisionmaking.
• Partner with plant leadership to launch, support, and sustain quality objectives and initiatives.
• Maintain, update, and audit Layered Process Audits (LPAs) across the site.
• Address quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Provide direction, coaching, and ongoing training to QA Technicians.
• Lead newhire quality orientation and coordinate with subject matter experts for handson training.
• Oversee the development, organization, and continuous improvement of the training room/DOJO.
• Develop and deliver new training materials in response to emerging quality or process issues.
• Manage and approve standard work and crosstraining signoffs to ensure employee competency.
• Facilitate TWI (Training Within Industry) programs and support standard work adherence across the plant.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

• High School Diploma for equivalent

Experience

• 1-2 Years of prior Windows Manufacturing Experience
• 1-2 Years of prior training experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
• Prior customer service experience is strongly desired

Skills/Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication and managerial skills. Take charge attitude. Able to motivate, direct and delegate. Excellent human relation skills needed. Excellent leadership skills using the Basic Principles or appropriate leadership guidelines. Computer skills within Word and Excel required.
