As a Senior Manager of Ethics & Compliance, you will serve as an investigations lead for ethics and compliance matters across the enterprise. This role is responsible for independently managing sensitive, high-risk investigations, including those involving potential violations of anti-bribery/anti-corruption laws, such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), while reinforcing a strong speak-up culture and commitment to non-retaliation. The person in this role is the central owner of the investigations incident management system, patterning closely with HR, Legal, Internal Audit, and business leaders to promote consistent, fair, and timely resolution of employee concerns.

What you'll do:

  • Lead end-to-end internal investigations in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies, including intake, scoping, interviews, evidence review, analysis, findings, and reporting
  • Conduct investigations involving allegations of misconduct, including ethics and compliance violations, retaliation, fraud, conflicts of interest, harassment, discrimination, and potential anti-corruption and bribery concerns (including FCPA-related matters)
  • Ensure investigations are timely, thorough, fair, and well-documented
  • Apply consistent investigative standards while exercising appropriate judgment based on risk, jurisdiction, and regulatory exposure
  • Collaborate with Legal on matters involving FCPA risk, government officials, third parties, international trade, or cross-border regulatory considerations
  • Support the administration and continuous improvement of the ethics reporting and case management system
  • Identify investigation trends, root causes, and systemic compliance risks, including corruption and third-party risk
  • Support policy interpretation and guidance, audit readiness and regulatory inquiries related to the Code of Ethics, anti-bribery, and anti-corruption standards
  • Promote a speak-up culture and reinforce non-retaliation expectations
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees seeking guidance on ethical and compliance concerns

Position Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Ability to work on site (Scottsdale, AZ, Dallas, TX, San Antonio, TX, Cincinnati, OH, Maryville, TN, any StandardAero US site)
  • Possesses Juris Doctorate
  • 5-7 years' experience conducting internal investigations in ethics, compliance, HR, legal, or related functions
  • Demonstrated experience handling complex, sensitive investigations involving senior leaders
  • Working knowledge of FCPA, anti-bribery, and anti-corruption principles, including third-party and cross-border risk
  • Strong professional writing and reporting skills, Microsoft Excel experience required
  • Strong understanding of investigation best practices, confidentiality, and due process
  • Excellent interviewing, analytical, and documentation skills
  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required, must have a valid passport

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with international trade regulations (export, import, sanctions)
  • Experience advising clients on labor and employment/human resources matters
  • A combination of in-house and law-firm experience is a plus
  • Experience in a highly regulated or industrial environment (aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, defense)
  • Experience supporting or partnering with Legal on trade-, fraud- or FCPA-related reviews or investigations
  • Familiarity with global investigations and jurisdictional considerations
  • Experience working with ethics hotlines and case management systems
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CCEP, CFE, SHRM, or equivalent)
