We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President to join our Corporate Treasury Funds Transfer Pricing team. This role is located in New York. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: * Key contributor to help execute monthly production processes for Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and controls across FTP Actuals and FTP Forecasting deliverables using Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) vendor software. * Ownership of attribution analytics of FTP results change month after month. * Critical & Analytical thinking and data analytics skill set must for FTP methodologies development, testing and implementation. * Coordination with risk and finance stakeholders on FTP methodology approvals, syndication and testing & implementation. * Own testing of upstream and downstream changes on both a regular and ad-hoc project basis (project example: migration of input transaction data from one system to another; monthly example: update of firmwide reference data to inform changes to any FTP related reference data). Make and defend key trade-offs between model accuracy and complexity, in line with team's overall strategic objectives. * Developing solutions using Python, SQL, and data modeling to drive measurable outcomes. Produce analytics highlighting operational activities/outcomes, identifying risks and recommending proposed solutions. * Cross function collaboration across Finance, Technology, and Risk to deliver scalable, compliant solutions that align with enterprise architecture and data governance * Maintains documentation and performs controls related to production activities including completing risk assessments and internal tracking and resolution of process improvements and control issues. * Reimagining and improving Treasury processes through automation, AI, and data-driven design-balancing innovation with risk awareness. * Ensure all the job responsibilities are performed in compliance with BNY standard governance practices. * Strong collaborative skills are preferred to work in this collegial team environment. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: * Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Degree in math, engineering, statistics, computational finance, or economics preferred. Progress towards an MS, MBA, FSA, FRM, CFA, or CPA/CA preferred. * 5 yrs experience in required Funds Transfer Pricing or preferred experience in Balance Sheet & NII Modelling (ALM) Asset and Liability Management, Interest Rate Risk Management, Liquidity Management, Finance Management & Analysis / Planning & Analysis (FM&A/F&A) area. * Knowledge of balance sheet and financial instruments, finance / management reporting systems, and Net Interest Income / Expense calculations a plus. * Proficiency with QRM software and MS Excel required and basic knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI, MAQ, Cubas and/or Bloomberg would be beneficial. * Candidate must be a self-starter, willing to learn new content and tools/processes quickly to contribute as quickly as possible. * A collaborative communicator who can influence across functions, translate technical ideas for business stakeholders, and drive alignment. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $95,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. | |
