We have an opportunity for a Marketing Director to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will drive marketing strategies and plans, demand generation, top of the funnel awareness, conversion activities, campaign development, content strategy, trade shows, data analytics, and cross-channel execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across our two categories, Commercial Filtration and Ice, to ensure alignment with business unit and category objectives. This role will report directly to the Business Unit President of Commercial Water Solutions You will:
- Elevate our marketing capabilities, driving customer engagement through innovative and data-driven marketing strategies.
- Develop and implement holistic marketing strategies that align with the Commercial Water Solutions' growth objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach across all marketing channels.
- Market Research and Data Analytics: Utilize market insights through BI Tools and VOC to identify customer and industry trends, preferences, and competitive landscape to inform strategy. Embed a data-driven culture that harnesses analytics and insights to shape marketing strategy, prioritize investments, allocate resources effectively, and drive continuous optimization of campaigns and performance.
- Integrated campaign development: Design and execute multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns that enhance awareness and consideration for Commercial Water Solutions products, leveraging digital, content, and traditional marketing channels.
- Content Development and Strategy: Lead the creation and execution of a content strategy, including website optimization and social media that supports integrated marketing efforts, ensuring that all content is aligned with brand messaging and resonates with target audiences.
- Lead Generation Management: Drive the generation and management of marketing qualified leads, collaborating closely with the sales organization todeliver on pipeline and revenue goals.
- Brand Management: Oversee Everpure Filtration and Manitowoc Ice brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging that aligns with the Pentair parent brand across all marketing initiatives.
- Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Management, Sales & Corporate Marketing teams to ensure alignment on marketing strategies, best practices, and resource allocation.
- Budget Management: Manage the segment marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to high-impact campaigns and initiatives while ensuring alignment to P&L performance.
- Performance Measurement: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities, using insights to refine strategies and improve ROI.
- Digital -Technology Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of marketingdriven software applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and creating cross-functional synergies that enhance campaign execution, customer engagement, and overall marketing performance.
- Asset Management: Establish and maintain a centralized, traceable, and userfriendly asset management environment-ensuring all marketing and digital outputs (e.g., website content, brochures, VOC materials, creative assets) are organized, easily accessible, and consistently utilized across crossfunctional teams and disciplines.
Key Qualifications:
- A minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive experience in integrated marketing roles, ideally within a business-to-business and/or industrial environment, including at least eight (8) years in a managerial position.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth and enhance brand reputation.
- A customer-centric data-driven approach, dedicated to enhancing customer experience through targeted marketing efforts.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to engage effectively with diverse audiences, both internally and externally.
- Strong creative skills that align to dynamic economic, product and customer marketing content creation.
- Experience in leading change initiatives within the marketing function, adapting to dynamic market conditions.
- Strong collaboration abilities to partner with global, regional, and functional leaders, driving alignment and influencing marketing transformation.
- Proficiency in data analytics and marketing technology to assess campaign performance and inform strategic decisions, leveraging tools such as Salesforce, Power BI, Pivot Tables, HubSpot, etc.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Compensation: For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $149000- $276700 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
