Job Title: Public Health Counselor Duration: 3+ Months to long term Location: Pulaski County, KY 42544 Schedule: 8 hours per day/5 days a week Role: On Site We're looking for a compassionate professional with a background in social work, counseling, or public health to join our team. In this role, you'll provide direct support, counseling, and case management for individuals affected by STDs and HIV while working closely with healthcare providers and community partners." Job Description: Provide case management and counseling for individuals diagnosed with STDs/HIV. Connect patients to testing, treatment, and supportive resources. Conduct field investigations and outreach to notify individuals who may have been exposed. Partner with healthcare providers to ensure quality care and follow-up. Offer education and prevention counseling to help reduce reinfection. Required Education: Bachelor's degree (preferred in social work, public health or similar). Experience in case management or social services. Strong communication skills, empathy, and ability to maintain confidentiality. Flexibility to travel statewide if needed.
