Job Title: Pharmacist Location: Salem OR 97301 Duration: 12+ Months with possible extension Schedule: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Pay Rate : $80-$85/Hr Role & Responsibilities: Dispensing and Distribution: Oversight of medication distribution from a central pharmacy carousel system to peripheral patient care automated dispensing cabinets (ADCs). Product verification for daily restock batches of both bulk Client and patient-specific bin (PSB) medications. Cold storage monitoring for vaccines and other parenteral agents. Controlled Substance dispensing, monitoring, auditing, and reporting. Ongoing close coordination with other central pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Medication Order Review: Interpret and review medication orders for appropriateness and transcribe into electronic health record / pharmacy software systems. Review patient medication regimens for therapeutic duplications, drug-drug interactions, and suboptimal therapy, particularly for admission and discharge medications. Provide drug information consultation and medication history review as requested. Other: Must be able to work both self-sufficiently and collaboratively as part of a large, complex pharmacy team. Prefer experience with inpatient EHR software systems and ADCs, particularly Omnicell. Requirements: Active Pharmacist license. BLS/CPR Certification.
