Overview SCCI is seeking a skilled senior-level Electrical Engineer to join our team! In this position you will provide technical expertise in the areas of maritime, launcher, missile, weapon, or weapon control systems concept definition, design, integration, and engineering. You will also perform electrical engineering analysis and design, in electrical engineering software tools, coordinating electrical fabrication, and electrical engineering test techniques for an Engineering Services contract supporting Maritime C2 and Warfare/Weapons Control systems, as well as future warfare development. This position may require occasional travel and is in support of future work expected in April 2027. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA.

- Transport, ship, fabricate, assemble, repair, maintain, and install systems, subsystems, components, cables, electrical enclosures, and hardware interfaces for systems and products
- Develop, maintain, and update clear and technically accurate electrical drawings based on design tolerances and specifications
- Provide analysis of the electrical requirements for the introduction of new equipment, reconfiguration of existing equipment, or proposed changes in the usage of space
- Provide technical support for Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) meetings, working groups, peer reviews, technical interchange meetings, and periodic system status coordination meetings
- Consider requirements, operational needs, cost, test and evaluation strategy, interoperability, suitability, technical and operational integration risks, and schedule when developing, revising, assessing, or providing input to system engineering products, including Engineering Change Proposals, Interface Requirements Specifications, and Technical White Papers
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's (BS) degree in engineering, scientific, or technical discipline
- Ten (10) years professional technical experience including at least five (5) years specialized experience in the areas of maritime, launcher, missile, weapon, or weapon control systems concept definition, design, integration, and engineering
- Specialized experience as an electrical engineer performing electrical engineering analysis and design, in electrical engineering software tools, coordinating electrical fabrication, and electrical engineering test techniques
- Engineering experience in the design and integration of sensors (tracking and guidance) into projectiles and weapon systems
- Engineering experience in the design, development, and testing of missile launcher electrical equipment
- Experience with power systems, embedded controllers, and linear drive systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
