ABOUT THE ROLE

The Training Specialist supports both recruiting and operational training efforts with a strong focus on engaging and supporting Spanish-speaking employees and candidates. This role helps position Wells as an employer of choice within diverse labor markets while ensuring clear communication, safe work practices, and effective onboarding. The position also partners closely with operations and HR to remove language barriers and support employee success throughout their employment lifecycle.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Support bilingual recruiting and outreach efforts to attract Spanish-speaking talent
  • Identify and recommend advertising channels and community recruiting strategies
  • Conduct bilingual pre-screening and candidate communication support
  • Translate during interviews between candidates and HR or hiring managers
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and assist with completion of employment paperwork
  • Translate onboarding materials and benefits enrollment information
  • Provide ongoing translation support for employee communications and HR documentation
  • Learn production processes to support operational training efforts
  • Assist supervisors in coaching and training Spanish-speaking employees
  • Serve as a communication bridge between Spanish-speaking employees and leadership
  • Support employee questions, concerns, and workplace issue resolution
  • Promote safety by ensuring language is not a barrier to understanding procedures
  • Recommend improvements to HR practices to support inclusivity and engagement
  • Perform additional recruiting, training, and support duties as assigned


WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate is a bilingual (English/Spanish) communicator who is passionate about connecting people to opportunities and supporting employee success. They are comfortable working in both recruiting and hands-on operational environments and can effectively bridge communication gaps between employees and leadership. This individual is personable, adaptable, and committed to creating an inclusive, safe, and supportive workplace.

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE



  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required (strong verbal and written communication skills)
  • Experience working with or supporting Spanish-speaking employees in hourly or production environments
  • Recruiting, candidate engagement, or community outreach experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with professional phone etiquette
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing demands
  • Strong training, coaching, and employee support capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively across both office and field/operations environments
