Equipment Yard Assistant

Equipment assistant/general maintenance day to day duties include of moving, lifting, organizing parts, assisting with pickup and delivery of vehicles and different items throughout the segments on the project.

Operate a forklift while following all company safety policies and procedures
• Pick up deliveries, run business errands for segments, will order/pick up equipment and/ or parts.
• Picking up and delivering small equipment/trucks
• Assist with conducting DOT inspections
• Assist with vehicle Service maintenance
• Other tasks as assigned

• Must be able to understand and carry out oral instructions
• Must be able to count, make simple arithmetic additions and subtractions
• Ability to use measuring devices such as tape measure, gauges, and rulers
• Operate equipment such as autos, trucks, and forklifts
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to withstand standing/walking/driving for long periods of time
• Turning/twisting/bending/crouching/kneeling/reaching overhead 100%
• Regular, reliable attendance
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must have a valid California Driver's License
