Laminator Operator, 2nd shift - Corry, PA

Experience preferred, however we will train the right person. This is a 2nd shift position with a 4-day (10 hours/day) workweek from Monday thru Thursday, 4pm -2:30am. Recent base wage increase is ultra-competitive, and there's an additional $1/hour shift differential for this 2nd shift role.

Summary

Laminator Operators will be trained to operate multiple types of machinery including, but not limited to, chopping/blocking equipment and slitting machines. Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor, Laminator Operators are expected to work in a manner which promotes safety, quality, and efficiency to meet production goals.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Participate in Safety Recognition program, staying actively engaged in Safety.
2. Follow ALL Safe work practices, LOTO, PPE, JHA's, Wait for the Wave, etc.
3. Meet all quality standards and customer requirements.
4. Skill and ability to meet or exceed production standards.
5. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
6. Maintain an orderly, safe, and clean work area.
7. Ability to learn and safely perform well on multiple types of machinery.
8. Work well in a team-based setting and communicate effectively with co-workers.
9. Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
10. Ability to learn and safely operate a Forklift.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

1. High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Skills

1. Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, SAP etc.)
2. Tape measure basic knowledge
