The Altman Clinical and Translational Research Institute (ACTRI) is an NIH-funded Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) institution that provides the infrastructure to support high-quality and innovative translational research. ACTRI's vision is to translate scientific discoveries into improved health by delivering education, training, and infrastructure for clinical research in the San Diego area and beyond. The ACTRI Center for Clinical Research is under the co-direction of Mark S. Wallace, MD and Kathryn Gold, MD. The Center encompasses services that facilitate performing all aspects of clinical research from Idea to Innovation. More than two dozen employees - skilled nurses, a registered dietitian, a registered sonographer, clinical coordinators, project managers, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians - support the researchers who conduct clinical trials at the ACTRI. The ACTRI Clinic Administrative Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and project support for the Center for Clinical Research (CCR), a division of the ACTRI that supports more than 200 clinical trials annually. This role contributes to smooth day to day clinic operations, assists research teams, and supports the clinic's scheduling and information systems. The position is highly visible and customer facing, requiring excellent communication, professionalism, and independent judgment in a fast paced research environment. This position will support clinic leadership and have a responsibility for all ACTRI clinic sites including La Jolla and Linda Vista. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $61,429 - $88,030 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $29.42 - $42.16 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). | |
